Restaurant bills normally include a service charge, but it is customary to add a tip of 5% to 10%. No additional tip is necessary unless you receive excellent service. If no service charge is added, add a 10% tip to the bill total. Taxi fares may include a tip, but if not, tip 10% of the metered fare.
