In restaurants a 10% service charge is usually added to the bill. If you'd like, you can tip an additional 5% for exceptional service. Hand the tip directly to the waiter. Tip taxi drivers 10% of the fare. Tip hotel porter €1 per bag and chambermaids €1 per day.
