Asia: Singapore
Tipping is not customary in Singapore and is prohibited at the airport. It is not expected in hotels, although you may give the bellhop S$1 (1 Singapore dollar) per bag if you wish. Tipping is also prohibited in restaurants, where a 10% service charge is added to the bill. As for taxi drivers, tipping is at your discretion - locals don't tip them.
