Africa & The Middle East: Saudi Arabia
Make sure you carry plenty of change in Saudi Arabia, because many service people expect tips. Not much is required - a few coins are fine. Tip porters R5 (5 riyal) to R10. Because a service charge isn't commonly included in restaurant bills, tip waiters 10%, but be sure no charge has been added as a gratuity. It isn't necessary to tip cab drivers if you've negotiated a price with the gratuity included; otherwise, tip 10% of the fare.
